We have found that rebates programs operate in a cloud of uncertainty and false promises. Standard rebate programs only offer a rebate in exchange for Used Cooking Oil. FOGplus Rewards allows us to offer more to our customers by receiving rewards for all the services that we perform for you. In addition, there are many ways to earn bonus points that are redeemable for Product, Service and even CASH!
FOGplus program overview
FOGplus is a three-tier rewards program
The reason for this is simple, if you do more business with us then you should be rewarded more.
Freshpoints levels: gold, platinum and diamond.
Paid Service or Product (Unrestricted)
- During regular scheduled and contracted service, a customer will receive Freshpoints back according to their tier % on total service amount
- Freshpoints are generated at time of invoice payment, may take up to 72 hours to be applied
- Freshpoints will not be circular, I.e. using Freshpoints to pay for service will nullify that portion of the invoices ability to generate rewards
- I.e if a $100 invoice is using $50 in Fresh Points, then only $50 will generate Freshpoints
Use Cooking Oil Collection (Unrestricted)
- For UCO Collection, contracted customers will receive Freshpoints in lieu of rebates
- Calculation would go as follows:
- Total Gallons Collected * 7.6 (converting gal to lbs) * Payback Rate (IL Yellow Grease) * UCO Market Value Pay % (determined by tier)
Sign-Up Bonus (Restricted)
- At specified times, marketing campaigns will be directed to give sign up bonus Freshpoints to new customers
- Freshpoints are ineligible for cash out and thus only eligible for service or product redemption
Referral Bonus (Unrestricted)
- Any customer that refers another location will receive 100 Freshpoints
- There are no restrictions on these Freshpoints
THANK YOU! Bonus (Restricted)
- At times we may just add some Freshpoints to your account as a thank you to our customers!
- These Freshpoints are ineligible for cash out and thus only eligible for service or product redemption
Social Media Follows (Restricted)
- Like, follow or subscribe to our social media channels to receive 50 Freshpoints per social media! That can be up to 250 free Freshpoints!
- These Freshpoints are ineligible for cash out and thus only eligible for service or product redemption
Freshpoints are redeemable in exchange for traditionally paid service or product, or cash out. Cash outs can be set to automatic, or you indicate at time of payment to use Freshpoints against an invoice.

All Freshpoints are redeemed at the tier of the customers’ tier.
Cash outs can be set to automatic upon request, or requested on an individualized basis
When you receive your invoice in an email, you will have 2 options
- Pay full invoice amount via Credit Card, ACH, Apple pay or Google Pay
- Use Freshpoints and pay remaining invoice balance via Credit Card, ACH, Apple pay or Google Pay
- Everyone starts in gold! You get this just by signing a service or purchase agreement!
- 6 paid services in last 12 months (work orders)
- $1,500 in paid service in last 12 months (annual)
- $7,500 in product purchase in last 12 months
- All Chains with 3+ locations receive platinum status
- Referral of 5+ active customers
- 12 paid services in last 12 months (work orders)
- $3,500 in paid service in last 12 months (annual)
- $15,000 in product purchase in last 12 months

FOGplus is a rewards program that generates Freshpoints through service and product purchases, among other avenues. These Freshpoints are redeemable in a variety of ways and give us the opportunity to add more value to your business.
Freshpoints are generated through Used Cooking Oil collections or any paid Service or Product Invoice. Other Freshpoints may be generated through sign-up bonuses or referral bonuses.
We value our customers, whether they be a single restaurant, or a large chain, and want to provide as much value as we can and that means offering rewards through Freshpoints.
ABSOLUTELY! The traditional Rebate Program has been fully replaced with the FOGplus Rewards Program. Freshpoints will be generated, and you will be able to choose how to redeem them. You may choose to redeem them for your CASH rebate, or you may choose to redeem them against an invoice.
If you do not want to participate, you may opt out via contact with your Partner Relations Representative or our Customer Care team. By opting out, you would forfeit any accumulated Freshpoints and thus be ineligible to generate points for redemption towards a cash out, service or product.
Yes! The invoice will show the Freshpoints that you have earned from the product or service that was provided and your total Freshpoints that you have accumulated.
Yes! Every customer gets signed up when signing a service agreement! For paid services, an invoice will be sent to you via email where you can pay by credit card, google pay, apple pay or a bank account. Payment information can be saved for future use. Please note we do not save this information, it is saved by the payment processor, and we never see credit card or bank information.
Yes, your Freshpoints balance will remain the same as you move up tiers. The higher the tier you are, the more valuable your Freshpoints!
When you follow us, you will get a direct message asking you to fill out a quick form to get your Freshpoints!
Commodities like Used Cooking Oil vary in price as markets go up and down. We use market rate because of shared fate. If Markets are up, we make more for processing and selling UCO and thus you should get more for product. If markets are down, we make less for processing and selling UCO and thus you also get less.
We use the Jacobsen Market Rate that is posted on a daily basis to determine the value for the product collected on that day.
The Market Rate is for a fully refined, ready for use product. What is collected at restaurants and commercial facilities is a raw, unrefined product. The remaining value goes to service (we do not charge service fees), processing and refining costs associated with taking a raw product and making it a usable, sellable product.
We can put you on automatic cash out so you will receive a check every time your tier is able to cash out. If you are in the gold tier, you will receive a check every 90 days (about 3 months). If you are in the platinum tier, you will receive a check every 60 days (about 2 months). If you are in the diamond tier, you will receive a check every 30 days (about 4 and a half weeks).
This new rewards system started July 1st, 2023. Everyone will be starting with 0 Freshpoints.
We are working every day to expand our footprint for services and product sales! If these are unavailable in your area, you may either continue to bank your Freshpoints until service and/or product is available, or cash out your points.
Immediately! As soon as you earn Freshpoints, they are redeemable for service or product! You are also eligible to cash out your points immediately but remember you must wait the set amount of days based on your tier to cash out again!
Each location in that chain counts as 100 Freshpoints! But who knows, maybe an added THANK YOU bonus would find its way to you!
There is no expiration on Freshpoints if you have an active service or purchase agreement in place! Termination of service or purchase agreements may result in forfeiture of points. Expiration of an agreement will not result in a forfeiture of points, but an active agreement must be in place to utilize points.
Freshpoints are non-transferable.
We require a w-9 to comply with IRS regulations when sending payments to businesses. The party listed on the w-9 will be the party listed on the payment.
Freshpoints are non-transferrable. If you sell your business, we will close out your account and cash out your points and send you the funds. The new owner will need to sign a new service agreement to start generating points.
